About the Piece: A Legend’s Stare is an abstract portrait created in memoriam to honor basketball legend, Kobe Bryant. His features are caressed by deep and warm hues, accented by waves of cool blue tones. Through his penetrating eyes we glimpse the quiet fire of this championed athlete. But there is an unspoken profundity in the silence, as if whispered by his eyes. Beyond his profound stare we are subtly urged to turn our gaze within and access the real Legend that we truly seek.
