My paintings are a celebration of the places where people have gathered and have treasured. I use colour in my work to create tension and focus within each piece. The colours used are an emotional reflex and a visual transcription of my non-verbal inner dialogue, and are inspired by people in my life. Girvin 2 was part of the collaborative exhibition titled Good Luck Finding It, originally exhibited in 2019 at Chapel Gallery, North Battleford, Canada.
